John Force is close to a major NHRA record which he escapes when he collected his 136th career No. 1 qualifier Saturday at NHRA VisitMyrtleBeach.com width of four nationals at zMAX Dragway.The other qualifiers No. 1 in the fourth of the 22 races of the NHRA Full Throttle drag racing series 2011 season were Del Worsham (Top Fuel) and Jason line (Pro Stock).
Force, the NHRA Full Throttle series 15-time champion and defend, moved around his teammate Robert Hight and Auto Club Ford team with its col 4.056-deuxième MPH in his Castrol GTX Ford Mustang 315.19. It is now just two shy of legend Pro Stock Warren Johnson, who has amassed a career qualifiers 138 No. 1 NHRA-record.

In Top Fuel, Worsham took first place in the Al-Anabi drag racing with a password of 3.780-deuxième balance 325.77 MPH. It was his first career No. 1 in Top Fuel, and the sixth of his career (the other five arriving in funny car).
"No doubt done good." What a great run, "said Worsham. "Alan Johnson and (team leader) Brian (Husen) was magical on the car and I am lucky to be driving."
Worsham will open a quad with Morgan Lucas, Dave Grubnic, and Antron Brown.
In Pro Stock, Mooresville, N.C., nearby, line moved around its night and teammate polesitter Greg Anderson on the last passage of the final session of qualifying with a password of 6.562-deuxième 210.97 mph in his Summit Racing Pontiac GXP.
"It's very cool to be on pole here (at zMAX Dragway), this Summit car is bad for the bones now," line, which recorded his 18th No. 1 career and the first qualifier since last NHRA ran in Concord, in Septemberdéclaré2010.
